BIG CHANGES AT Shades Of Green! Goodbye Walkway To The Polynesian | Our Breakfast At Kona Cafe!

If you haven’t heard the news…As of May 1, 2023 the walkway between the Shades of Green Resort property and the Polynesian walkway will no longer be available to guests. This will be a permanent closure as Disney’s Reedy Creek District is working on a big expansion project near the area and the road will become 4 lanes across instead of the current 2 lanes (with no plans for a crosswalk as of now). It has been a hot topic on social media in the Disney Military community and everyone has lots of questions. On our last stay of our vacation we asked as many questions as we could so that we could help our viewers with planning and provide the most accurate information. So, if you’ve ever taken a lovely stroll down this path then join us on our very last walk across the street.
